We ask Ada to “help” a lot around the house. She loves having chores and, frankly, they often keep her from getting into too much mischief.
Here is a sample of Ada’s daily chores list:
Yesterday after she tired of playing in the sandbox, I asked her if she wanted to use some soapy water to clean off her climber. Her answer was an enthusiastic yes. Although I’m sure that more of the water ended up on her than the slide, she had a grand time cleaning.

After the chore was finished, she insisted that I take a photo of her sticking out her tongue. Then I just kept hearing, “Ada see it!” I think she was pleased with the final photo.

I hope she continues to love doing her chores well into the future. My only goal is to keep them as fun as possible so she won’t reject my requests.
